Another EBAY purchase and one of the nicer ones I think. This was a particularly time consuming project, but worth it when finished. The building on the left and the gate came as one lot, the building on the right as another. They just seemed to go well together and the overall footprint is relatively modest. The airbrush is great for the overall colouring but hand painting the timber work was a real pain!
In a game, I would probably divide it down the middle and fight it as too separate modules, each with a garrison of maybe 10 figures or so.
Ebay is a great source of ready built structures of all sorts and, if you hit lucky, there are some real bargains to be had. The level of detail is amazing, intended as they are mainly for model railway enthusiasts; with a bit of time and effort they can look great on the table.
A very fine find there, you have tempted me to visit EBay again although I don’t “need” any more buildings🙂
ReplyDeleteNeed, no, Want, yes!! I have far more than I will ever need, but a bit of variety is nice. That is my rationale and I'm sticking to it!!
